Conscious breathing sessions
are an effective and beautiful access to living a deep and powerful life. For personal issues that impact you both physically and emotionally it is a wonderful way to find inner peace and wellbeing.The benefits of conscious breathing sessions are numerous. Often people share after a session that they feel clear and energised; that their breathing is open and easy; they feel connected, centred, and still, and have profound insights and clarity on what actions to take in life.

Conscious breathing is a simple, yet powerful way of opening your life to grace and beauty. Once you have moved through a series of sessions, you can continue with this breath practice on your own, and continue to deepen and expand the benefits, enriching your experience of life.

Conscious Breath sessions awaken you and heal past experiences and traumas in a natural, gentle, and integrative way.
Breath is holistic as it is essential to our physical health as well as our emotional well being. A series of sessions is a life transforming experience as it allows us to heal and transform ourselves on all levels including our mental and spiritual self. This breath practice is also called Conscious Connected Breathwork, Rebirthing and Integrative Breath Therapy.
In each session you are held and given space and support to go as far and as deep as you are ready to go at that moment.
Sometimes some energy or bodywork is used to help release any build up of tension, and/or verbal guidance and positive affirmations, to hold a space of total safety, possibility and relaxation. The intention of a session is to be as present and unconditional with whatever is arising and wishing to be transformed as possilbe. Through welcoming, embracing and trusting what comes to the surface within a session, healing happens automatically and with ease.
The breath brings in a grace that opens you to a meditative experience that is very deep and yet very conscious. It is a moment-to-moment journey and every single breath is a healing, a letting go and opening to a new possibility. It shifts many so called 'unconscious' reactions or 'involuntary' processes, regulates your physiological, emotional, psychological and spiritual states. Awakening Breathing sessions balance and free emotions, body tensions and increase spiritual and/or subtle energy awareness. By turning to the breath, you turn toward your spiritual self, that non-physical yet essential aspect of your being.
What happens in a session?
A session opens with space for the client to share and be coached on issues in their life that either they wish to transform or are having difficulties integrating and healing.
When ready the client will begin the awakening breathing part of the session. This practice is done either sitting up, or lying down. The benefit of lying down is that the breather can fully relax and allow the energy to awaken fully. The breathing I use for this session is based upon conscious connected breathing, where the inhale and the exhale form an uninterrupted cycle of breath. Conscious connected breathing is either through the nose, or through the mouth but not alternating through both.
The practitioner continues to support the breather through the breathing cycle which can last anything from 45-90 minutes. At times the breather may experience a heightened awareness of physical, emotional or spiritual states.
The breathing cycle comes to a natural integration and the breather will feel physically lighter and clearer mentally and physically. Their body may be free from aches and pains which are usually there. Occasionally they experience sudden awareness and clarity around issues which have been perplexing them. Because of the potency of this integration phase the breathworker will encourage the breather to stay still and quiet for a period while the full impact of the session settles in their awareness. The integration phase is an essential part of gaining maximum value from the session, and should not be rushed or interrupted.
After the breathe the client may want to share some of their experiences or realisations with their breathworker, who once again may offer feedback on the breathing session. Afterwards an appointment will be made for the next session.
